Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information OwlCall collects, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. We have written it in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us at hello@owlcall.ai.
1. Who we are
OwlCall is an AI receptionist product built for service businesses, primarily in the United States and Canada. OwlCall is currently in early access, accepting applications from service businesses.
The data controller is the owner of OwlCall, operating as a sole trader (OSVČ) registered in the Czech Republic. Contact: hello@owlcall.ai.
2. What information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us directly through our forms:
- Early access requests: name, email address, industry, and approximate weekly call volume.
- Contact form submissions: name, email address, the topic of your inquiry, and the message you write.
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or invasive analytics. We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data — page views, visitor country, device type, and referrer. It does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not collect any personally identifiable information.
When the OwlCall product launches, it will handle business phone calls on behalf of our customers. Those calls will be recorded and transcribed. Callers will always be notified at the start of the call that it is being recorded. That data is covered by a separate agreement with our business customers and is not described in this policy.
3. How we use your information
We use the information you submit to:
- Respond to your inquiry or early access request.
- Contact you when early access opens, if you have requested it.
- Understand which industries and business types are most interested in OwlCall, so we can prioritize what we build.
We will never sell your information or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Legal basis for processing
EU / EEA users (GDPR)
We process your personal data under the following bases:
- Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) — to respond to messages you send via the contact form.
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — when you submit an early access request. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@owlcall.ai.
Canadian users (PIPEDA)
We collect, use, and disclose personal information only for the purposes identified in this policy, with your knowledge and consent. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions, by contacting us at hello@owlcall.ai.
California residents (CCPA)
We do not sell personal information. California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of any sale (we do not sell data). To exercise these rights, email hello@owlcall.ai.
5. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate this site:
- Vercel — website hosting and analytics (US-based). Vercel Analytics collects anonymous, aggregated data only — no cookies, no personal data. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
- Resend — email delivery (US-based). Form submissions are delivered to us via Resend. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
These services are used solely to operate the site. They are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes. As US-based processors, they participate in standard contractual data transfer mechanisms where applicable.
6. International data transfers
Your information may be stored and processed in the United States by our service providers (Vercel, Resend). By submitting a form on this site, you acknowledge this. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is handled securely regardless of where it is processed.
7. Data retention
We retain form submissions for as long as necessary to follow up on your request. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so within 30 days.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure of your personal data.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (see below).
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@owlcall.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

- Canada: Office of the Privacy Commissioner — priv.gc.ca
